Mark was so friendly and warm when he came to measure up and quote for us, he provided a quote quickly and advised they could complete the work the following day which was amazing. Paul and (I’m so sorry I forgot the other man’s name) were efficient, polite and tidied up after themselves. The work they completed was perfect and they were kind enough to talk us through how to work the new ladder after themselves install. How do I know whether my loft needs more insulation?

A short survey is the most reliable way. We check the depth, condition and coverage of the existing material and whether it has settled, been disturbed or become damp, then explain what we would recommend.

When should old loft insulation be removed?

Removal is usually sensible where material is damp, contaminated, heavily deteriorated or unsuitable, or where the loft needs to be cleared before boarding, re-insulation or remedial work.

Can you remove insulation following water damage?

Yes. We regularly assess and remove insulation affected by leaks and water ingress, and can prepare the loft for replacement material once any repairs are complete.

Will insulation removal create a lot of mess?

Our vacuum-assisted equipment is designed to contain loose material, and we protect access routes and work areas. We wouldn’t describe any loft work as completely dust-free, but disruption is kept to a minimum.

Do you provide free loft surveys?

Yes. Surveys are free and carry no obligation. You will receive a practical recommendation based on what we actually find in the loft.
